GreetingsOur Commitment to Foot Health

In March 2013, we opened Japan’s first clinic dedicated exclusively to foot care in Omotesando, Tokyo. In March 2021, we relocated to Q Plaza Harajuku.
Our clinic welcomes around 6,000 new patients each year, most of whom suffer from foot pain and deformities. These problems have diverse causes, requiring accurate diagnosis by foot specialists across various disciplines. Our team consists of seven medical specialists who collaborate closely to assess and treat foot-related issues.
We also offer comprehensive foot care services including medical foot care and nail repair by certified nurses, gait improvement therapy by foot-specialized physical therapists, and prescription-based custom insoles crafted by certified orthotists. Our clinic provides truly comprehensive, team-based foot care unmatched elsewhere.
Feet are essential parts of our body that we use every day. A child’s foot structure is formed by around age 9 and must serve them throughout life. When younger, issues may go unnoticed as the knees or hips compensate. However, as we age, foot problems often lead to pain, imbalance, and even falls.
As Japan faces an aging society, we aim to promote foot health screenings and pediatric foot care to help prevent these risks. Our mission is to support a healthy, active life with strong, pain-free feet. Together with our patients, we hope to advance the field of podiatric medicine in Japan.

Message from Our Consulting Physician

A partnership between a university hospital and our clinic to advance foot medicine in Japan
The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Saitama Medical University Hospital, which I lead, specializes in treating intractable wounds and ranks No.1 among DPC hospitals in Japan for diabetic foot cases.
Director Kuwabara of Foot Clinic Omotesando trained extensively in advanced wound care at our hospital before founding Japan’s first foot-specialty clinic in 2013.
Together, combining the hands-on, patient-centered care of the clinic and the advanced acute care capabilities of our university hospital, we aim to further develop and improve the field of foot medicine in Japan.
